"Leadership is about making others better as a result of your presence and making sure that impact lasts in your absence" - Sheryl Sandburg

"This is the quote that comes to mind when I think of the mark that True Moua is leaving on this industry. I was a crazy fan girl of True's before meeting her at Conference 12 in 2015 where she was speaking and teaching . True's work is like none I had ever seen! Since then, I have had the opportunity to mentor with her online and meet up with her in Paris, France for her amazing Mystique Workshop! It was one the most incredible opportunities of my life. That workshop was truly magical and hands down one of my most favorite life memories. One thing about True is she meets you where YOU are but doesn't leave you there. She is one of the most humble but honest teachers I have ever worked with. I love her confidence and her boldness to teach HONESTLY. She teaches with a no "holds barred" approach. You will leave inspired, corrected in techniques of shooting, confident in your style, and ready to kick butt in your business. I love and admire True because she is a risk taker and that is something that cannot be copied by any, and that is the confidence that spills out in anyone who has the opportunity to work with her. On a personal level she is one of the most humble selfless beings I know. For being a top leader in this industry one would never know it by her humble approach. True truly loves what she does and that love radiates from her, and I believe that is what makes her such a fabulous leader.  Thank you True for leaving a mark on me and my business, thank you for your honesty and meeting me where I was but not leaving me there! You are a gem unlike any other!"

"True was hands down one of the most informative and inspirational teachers at Click Away.  I learned so much from True regarding styling, posing, lighting and finding phenomenal backdrops off the beaten path.   She shared so much information with the class. We came away with not only knowledge and inspiration but also stunning photographs of her beautiful models. I can’t wait to take what I learned from True and apply it to my own work."

"I have been following True's photography for a couple of years now and have always been in awe of her talent. I knew this last year as I was strategizing how to evolve my photography business to be more aligned with my vision, part of reaching that vision was being mentored by True. I had an amazing experience with our mentorship. I learned a lot about the business side of photography. True was also very encouraging and broke everything down so it was simple to understand and see how to do it on my own after my mentorship. She also set up styled shoots that were just a dream to shoot. Her eye for styling, posing, and lighting is so impressive. And I had a lot of fun being around True. She's very kind and a great teacher. Overall, it was one of the best investments I made!"

"After years of patiently waiting for our paths to cross, finally, I was thrilled to have a moment to meet you at the recent workshop in Dana Point, California. You truly are the sweetest thing!

First off, I loved how personable you were right from the beginning! I was a little nervous to meet you but you were so warm and welcoming like an old friend! THANK YOU so much for sharing your knowledge above and beyond with me over the days. I loved learning about senior photography and all that goes into preparing for your senior sessions. You are a "True Creative " and I appreciate your deep immense passion. I felt that you were completely approachable and spoke easily about your process. You made me want to be a better photographer.

Some of my favorite parts weren't even photography related but were us all just being human! I learned we can run a sprint back to a pier in less than a minute, that you are the perfect foodie partner, and searching for gelato and cream brûlée is an art in itself!"

"After 10+ years in business, I wanted to attend a workshop with a photographer whose work I admire, in hopes to come back with something new for my toolbox. Having attending one of True's recent workshops, I found her to be one of the better instructors/leaders/mentors around. Totally open to sharing her business and photography skills, without making you feel like you had to do everything her way. It was refreshing. She was available 24/7 for questions and she's just as cute and fun as you'd think she'd be. I highly recommend attending any educational opportunity she might be offering, if you are focusing on the senior market!"

“I am so grateful that I was able to learn from True at a couple workshops this past year. She is so open and honest and willing to answer any questions I had for her. She helped me with posing at the Joshua Tree Workshop, and Nashville I was able to not only watch her style a model, but she had us style the models on our own. The hands-on experience has been so helpful! I picked up quite a few ideas at these workshops that I could definitely incorporate in my own business. I love being around True cause she really has a fun personality and I’ve always felt welcomed and comfortable around her. Don’t pass up the opportunity to learn from her! It’s so worth it!️"

"I’ve wanted to learn from True the moment I discovered her work so when I found out she was hosting a workshop with another fave photographer of mine-I couldn’t sign up fast enough. Learning from, meeting and getting to know True was everything I’d hoped and more. Her gentle, calm , beautiful, spirit and soul that shows in all of her amazing work is exactly what you get with True. She’s beautiful inside and out and just made me feel so comfortable. She loves what she does, both shooting for her clients and teaching other photographers, and that love and passion showed in the way she instructed and interacted with the other attendees and models. True made me feel like I was important and that my work is good enough to be in a highly competitive industry-her support both during and after the shootout means so much. I am already dreaming of the next opportunity I will get to learn from True. Her soul and spirit are as beautiful as the stunning images she produces!!"

Learning from True was so helpful -It was incredibly informative just to watch how she interacted with and directed her models during her shoot portion. I loved hearing how she looks for the pretty light and was also blown away by the little details that she taught us to incorporate into our styling for seniors. Being able to show her a couple images and get immediate feedback was worth my entire ticket price at Click Away. She was also so sweet, encouraging and such a wonderful resource. Any questions we threw at her, she was equipped and eager to answer. If you get the chance to learn from True, no questions -get a spot at the front!

"True is one of a kind. She is the absolute sweetest person you will ever meet. Learning from True, is just that ‘true’ education. I love that she genuinely cares about YOU and your business. She wants to help you learn and become better at your skill, so you can be successful. Anytime I have a question she is more than willing to help me.I love that she created her own style in the industry which has taught me to embrace the unique. She has inspired me to be the best I can possibly be and I would not be where I am today without her."

"I have been salivating over True’s work for a while, so when I saw that she was offering mentorships, I jumped at the chance. I am so glad that I did! She is worth every penny, and I would do it again in a heartbeat! True is very welcoming and encouraging. She was open with everything, and constantly asking if I had questions. I was completely blown away! I had so much fun on the shoot she had planned, and learned so much just listening and watching her work with her model. In addition to shooting with her, she shared so many business tips and editing secrets. Before my mentorship with True, I edited using only actions. Since my mentorship, I haven’t used any actions, and have done everything by hand inPhotoshop. That is just from sitting down with her for a couple of hours!I can honestly say that the mentorship has given me a huge boost in my work.Through her critique of the photos I submitted, I learned how to improve my compositions, and pay attention to detail. I can definitely tell a difference in my work since working with her! In addition, since my mentorship with her, I have successfully partnered with a local boutique, had 2 creative shoots with dresses and floral crowns, and re-worked my sessions. She gave me so much insight, and was very giving and down to earth. I thought it would be intimidating working with someone so talented, but she was kind and inspiring. If you are thinking about a mentorship with True, I couldn’t recommend her more. It is so worth it, and your business will reap the benefits."
